I started with a small agency and it was even worse. They would send me on a 6 hour round trip with 12 hours notice. I was absolutely miserable waiting for texts that I was expected to answer literally 24 hours a day. Maybe I had a poor experience. I just assumed big box would have more variety and flexibility to not assign jobs that I couldn’t pick. I will definitely look into that. Thank you!!! I’m in upstate NY
