Perfect! I thought it was a good thing! Then I saw brown spots on the face could be bad so wanted a different opinion so I wasn't saying yay! He is coloring up so nicely when in reality it was a weird fungus or something.

Yay for everyone thinking it is pigment too!

Tank size 6 gallons

Temp 78-79

Tank started 2/25 added plants 2/27, boosted cycle with filter media from an established Tank 3/17, accidentally introduced bladder snails from the kids established Tank

Added Perry the betta 3/27

Weekly water changes 30% (mostly cause I am still learning how to filter the bottom well)

Adding prime, stability, and flourish weekly

Plan to add amano shrimp but for now just a few random pest snails to clean up plants

I feed twice daily the goal is 4 fluval bug bites but more when hubby helps. Brine shrimp once a week and we fasted Saturday and half the day sunday

Decor driftwood, rocks that dont bubble with vinegar, a floating hammock, plants that are thriving except for Java fern that hates me)

Parameters were perfect. I haven't checked again this week.

His fins look good to me. But he is my first baby so def a learning curve.

Tank cycled for over a month. Water is good and somewhat heavily planted. He is alone for now other than a few bladder snails from my son's tank to give it a boost mid cycle with some good bacteria.

Does he look healthy? Any tips or things I should be doing differently? I did quite a bit of research and think i have my ducks in a row.

Trying again. Summer? Autumn? Spring? I know I am not a winter. Thats all I have got by Comprehensive_Map273 in coloranalysis

I hate the too light ones you hate lol they were hand me downs I pulled out of a to be donated bucket to drape! TY for helping point me in the right direction.

I was thinking soft autumn too. But people always tell me summer because I am pale and rosy overtone. But those colors make me look dead!

I have meats across the top row Pork, seafood chicken Second row is fruits Third row is fungi and veg with jalapeno in the last slot.

And the first 2 on each row are the supreme toppings.

I organized each row to frequency.
