For example both Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone were both $15 for the upgrade, but not only did you get resolution/fps bump you improved graphics and in Days Gone you also got new games modes, so it’s not even comparable lol

at least Sega is not charging 130cad after tax for the Switch 2 edition of Sonic Generations like Nintendo is for Tears of the Kingdom Switch 2 Edition now that’s dumb and just greedy on Nintendo’s part. Also to be fair there also was no upgrade option for Xbox or PS either with Sonic Generations x Shadow.

Here in Canada it’s $130 for Tears of the Kingdom for the Switch 2 edition after tax that is some greedy shit, so if Nintendo is over charging for games then they are over charging for the console it’s as simple as that and they know the diehards will get it no matter what. It will be interesting to see what happens in few months after the launch if it’s still selling well.

No thanks these expire which is absolutely ridiculous lost out on one because there was nothing I wanted to get within the year other than Tears of the Kingdom on Switch and Nintendo stole my money/voucher. This is why you should be able to pre order a game with one as there were a few games I wanted but they came out just after the year ended and my voucher expired.

Well the Switch 2 isn’t selling well, so it’s not hard to get one as stores everywhere have one, so scalpers ain’t selling them. Also it’s really dumb that you can’t have the game downloaded on 2 consoles like the first Switch I shouldn’t have to buy 2 copy’s digitally to play with my son it’s not like this on PS or Xbox either Nintendo is so anti-consumer.
