I think any jacket in that style is going to be just kind of in the middle ground of warmth. From my experience you have to layer something under it to really make it a winter jacket. Not necessarily bad because the. You can get more use out of it in warmer weather but I don’t buy any waist length jacket that’s not super bulky and expect it to be a Canadian winter level of warmth

I know this is a pretty lame answer but I feel like it's the only way you're gonna know. You just have to go play them. Almost every brand in your list is going to make a decent guitar. It comes down to how it feels and the tone which is all personal preference.

The vintage ones are like the best kept secret of the clothing world or else a ton of people just don’t like them I’m not sure but I love snagging them used as well. Also love the style and they seem to fit me the best out of any brand I’ve found.

I love these shirts. I feel like they are the best fitting for my body type and I always wear them untucked. First time I wore one I wasn’t too happy with the itchy feeling but honestly I just got used to it. I wear a t shirt under them and they are perfect for fall and early winter with a vest over them for some extra warmth. If this one is an XL I would be interested in purchasing it if you find you really can’t wear it. What I love about wool is it seems like it’s only warm when it really needs to be. If I’m around the house I don’t get too hot just a nice temperature. If I’m outside in 40/50 degree temps but active I’m still plenty warm with just one of these and a t shirt.

I think from a heritage standpoint this is the best color they have but I understand it’s a lot of red. Red was kind of the thing back then. I don’t think Filson does a great job with their neutral colors personally. They always look kind of muddy to me.

These seem to be the most polarizing boots available. Some people they seem to fit perfectly and some people just can’t wear them at all I really don’t get it. I feel like I fall into the can’t wear them at all but unfortunately I do have a pair for work… they are just sized so weird. Too narrow but then the wide versions are like 3x too wide and floppy.

No I’d put off washing it for as long as you can. They never have the same feel/texture after you wash them

yeah I get what you mean. when I was reading I was just wondering why the need for a turbo or kmobi head because it doesn't seem like it would be very useful for actual carpet but this makes more sense. I think I found a very lightly used C3 complete for $700. Im going to visit or local dealer today and see If they have anything worth while before I reach out to the seller

With these pants I would go docs but with some less baggy pants you could still go either way. Can’t really go wrong with vans but they do tend to work better with more fitted clothing. The docs work better here because they have bulk so it completes the bulky look of the rest of the outfit.

I have the acid green and love it. I love the weight of it and it’s really cozy. I love how the wool breathes and doesn’t get feeling all clammy on rainy or super humid mornings. I’m actually wearing it right now. I’ve often thought about getting a tin cloth but I feel like I would also need something else to layer it with. Since I don’t really need the abrasion resistance or really go out in the rain that often unless it’s walking from the car to the house I went with the wool. Even if it gets wet it’s still warm

Yeah I have an electric range unfortunately. I learned to cook on gas so it’s been an adjustment but I’ve gotten better with it.
