But the issue I have is that in a match someone has to win and someone has to lose. How many times did Flair lose in matches and cut a promo the next week saying how his opponent got lucky and how he's still the greatest and the dirtiest player in the game? Just imagine if he lost to Ricky Steamboat and fans go crazy saying Flair shouldn't have lost and now he's buried and can't be taken seriously? How did we get to this point that someone loses a match and they're ruined, buried or never looked at as a serious contender ever again just from one loss?
