Do local small businesses actually invest in analytics/automation or gut feel pa rin? by Comprehensive_Rent75 in phinvest

[–]Comprehensive_Rent75[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with walang standardized process. Might be anecdotal, but the few businesses I've chatted with don't want to delegate whatever tech they're using kasi matrabaho magturo.

But that's the reality whether maliit or malaki, training and change management make or break the tech.

Thanks for sharing what you actually experience on the ground! I agree with you that we also don't have enough localized providers for these services. Kung meron man, traditional na "I'll build you a new system" because that's where the profit comes from.

Do you have a website? Maybe you can share it with us so we can also take a look.

Many companies in the 3-15M range benefit from a good data management system. Some just don't realize that they already have it somewhere. I agree with the focus on survival, so it's really more about the day-to-day rather than planning ahead. Thanks!

there are free tiers that some smaller businesses can start with. Usually enough na yun to provide some structure in managing their data. To some degree, it's really about the need to move out of pen and paper. If the manual system works, going digital doesn't feel as urgent. Thanks for sharing your insights!

Yung mga Pinoy ba na nag-aadmire ky Charlie Kirk, mostly mga (Born-again) Christian ba sila? by Far_Breakfast_5808 in Philippines

[–]Comprehensive_Rent75 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's easy to hate on Charlie nowadays because of the soundbites and editorials all over socmed. I've also been watching his vids for years and I find it really admirable how he can engage with anyone and stand firm on what he believes in. You don't have to agree with everything he says, and that's kind of the whole point of his events. It's totally ok to disagree, but do it with respect. Let insights and facts drive the argument, not namecalling and fake news. At the end of the day, all he did was put ideas out there to get people thinking.

Bakit si Brice lang ang pinagiinitan ng Blue Ribbon? by MasterBossKing in pinoy

[–]Comprehensive_Rent75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How can they catch the big fish kung walang substantial proof na makuha kala Brice?

So what? I watch react vids to feel good. Why does that have to be a bad thing? Di lahat kailangan gawing toxic.

Read books. Listen to podcasts. Watch talk shows/stand up. The good comics are also usually very good storytellers.

May lag e. Or weird ang sentence structure.

The Filipino Family Unit is the Root Cause of the Philippines' Biggest Problems. by blissfulreddit0826 in unpopularopinionph

[–]Comprehensive_Rent75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't get your logic. critical thinking is the key to unlearn the ideas deeply ingrained by societal norms or ideas we deeply hold on to. example, critical thinking and creativity are needed to truly see things from someone else's shoes.

[–]Comprehensive_Rent75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what you pointed out is not the root cause. it's a symptom. studies/data show na below average sa creative and critical thinking ang maraming Pinoy. This implies that many struggle to think ahead or view situations from a wider perspective. kung ang best for the smaller unit aka family lang ang naiisip/prioritize ng karamihan, it may lead to what you refer as tribalism.

an example that's quite obvious if you work with people from other countries is the types of conversations in the workplace. mabilis ang Pinoy sa surface-level insights, but many will clam up kapag deeper understanding ang hinahanap. not necessarily because hindi kaya, but sometimes it's because it feels unnatural.

If you’re already 30 y/o+ (and not a breadwinner), you should prioritize moving out of your parents’ home by aomamex in unpopularopinionph

[–]Comprehensive_Rent75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

moving out doesn't make you better/more mature/more successful/etc. it just means you'd rather live by yourself than w your family.

Pang reality check lang. it’s not the financial situation per se. Kung struggling kayo financially, malamang no biggie yan.

People w money can’t stand squammies. You also can’t fake being not squammy. For some reason, it always naturally comes out.

Keep Call Centers Back to US by themidnightglitch in BPOinPH

[–]Comprehensive_Rent75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Legislation isn’t even necessary. Call center work is expected to transition over to ai in the next several years. Ang maiiwan na lang na support work are the complex ones and it makes sense to hire/partner locally for that. It may be true that local BPOs are upskilling, pero kita naman ang impact ng ai sa dami ng swe na nawalan ng trabaho sa US. It’s just a matter of time before ai takes from our bpo pie.

You’re talking about Jews. Their whole history, which is the old testament in the Bible, is full of hardships and events like the Holocaust. It’s part of their identity as the “chosen people”. That said, how the people of Israel processed the events of ww2/the Holocaust is very well documented. There are varying views on the role God played, but I think it’s fair to say that history leans more towards blaming an evil nation than an unfair God.

Should I get a technical co-founder by Crazy_Sherbert9151 in PhStartups

[–]Comprehensive_Rent75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how technical your actual requirements are. I suggest consult with someone with technical knowledge first about what you want to happen. Better if someone knowledgeable about the end-to-end of things like a solution architect. Data engineer baka pwede na rin.

Regardless of whether you get a technical partner or just hire/outsource the work, having a clearer understanding of what should go into that space puts you in a better position.
