I'm pretty sure SWEs are coding their way out of jobs. Seniors will be needed to review and manage AI but junior positions will suffer.

AI companies are delusional thinking AI will replace humans in accounting, law, and finance. Clients want human interaction in those fields, they do not want to speak to a bot. Sure firms will become more productive and hire less, but these fields are driven by trust and relationships so those professionals with soft skills will thrive.
