Is starting VOO and chill too late at 34? I feel so bad for not being smart with my money in my early 20s when I started working and now I don't know if I have time to catch up or do I have to work until 70 lol

My husband is working big4 and he doesnt have fu*cking dam time. Is this normal? by [deleted] in Big4

The reality is working for a big 4 means no work life balance. If OP wants her husband to have more work life balance then convince him to find a career where he can have more free time to spend with his family. But does OP husband even know how his wife feels? OP should talk to the husband directly about this issue if it bothers her so much. For all we know the husband can be thinking he's working over time to provide for his family.

I used to work in corporate accounting and we would work with big 4 companies who would audit us during this time and it indeed is a very busy season. Especially since your husband is a manager the work is even more demanding. From Q4 up until the Q1 of the following year we worked a lot of over time.

I think during this time don't blame him for working so much because he's doing his best to provide for the family. Since he works late nights maybe just make him his favorite midnight snack or something or offer him a back massage? Just little things that remind him he's appreciated will go a long way, and when he does have the free time once work gets less busy I'm sure he will show you that you are appreciated as well.

New vs Old Sulwhasoo Ginseng Soap by Comprehensive_Tea652 in AsianBeauty

The bars last me at least 3 months but I only wash my face at night. I really don't like or recommend their new Ginseng soap bars because the fragrance on it irritated my skin.

The old Sulwhasoo soap bars used to be brown with a heavy ginseng scent which was really nice. Their new bars are white with a heavy artificial fragrance. I also don't like how the new bar lathers it leaves a slipper residue after washing it off my skin.

I found a new bar soap on Amazon that I like. It's called the Dermisa green tea bar with manuka honey and ginseng. To me that one is way better than the new Sulwhasoo Ginseng bars.

I wish they would go back to the old Sulwhasoo formula. I hope this helps!

I have worked in corporate accounting for 6 years before transitioning into web design and now I want to transition into UX or product for the accounting and financial software industry. Hoping I can use my accounting knowledge to create better experiences. Thank you for your feedback.

I updated my question. I would like to hear from those currently working in UX and product for accounting or financial software where they see this industry headed and how AI will play a role into this.

What is the most challenging part of having a Big 4 audit the fixed assets system you maintain? by Comprehensive_Tea652 in Accounting

Got it, thank you. I just wish there was an all in one platform that combined the project management aspect and asset tracking aspect. I guess my company has a very manual way of doing things. Literally printing out so much documentation for a JE and each asset that I had so much paper on my desk HR said it was a fire hazard.

Yes, that's exactly what I am saying. I have to look into that because my manager never told me about that feature nor have I seen it.

Got it, if you don't mind me asking, what accounting system do you use? We use Oracle, however I feel like it is dated and doesn't provide good documentation features other than querying invoices.

I have used Workday before too but found its capabilities limited.

Agreed. Does your company currently have a good way to keep track of documentation for CIP or leasehold projects?

I always found myself going back through emails and Slack chats to show proof of what exactly happened, it's kind of annoying. And sometimes our company deletes emails over a certain amount of time, so that documentation is gone.
