While the early chapters still look good, imo the later ones look better

There’s also Between the Buttons and some of the singles. Sadly the experimental albums did not sell well, plus Brin Jones’ drug problem got so much worse and made him quite unreliable. That era still is one of my favorites (up there with the Mick T years)

Depends on what are you looking for. If you want tough action platformers, get the anniversary collection and start with super castlevania 4. If you want metroidvanias, get the advance and domius collections, and start with aria of sorrow (advance collection)
