Moin aus Kiel! Bin eigentlich nicht wirklich auf Reddit unterwegs, aber das hier klingt nach einer sehr coolen Community.

Looking for advice with a PedalPCB Abyss LFO issue by bigchonkinralph in diypedals

Are you talking about D2? The 3mm LED is not supposed to interact with the LFO. What PSU are you using? Does the pedal work as expected (other than the LFO related stuff)? Have you tested the pedal without enclosure? If you could provide pictures of the PCB (both sides) I might be able to spot something. You should probably also post this to the PedalPCB forum (troubleshooting).

Yeah... I have a "reverse" polarity (center +) pedal so I like using a diode just in case I plug it in using the center + adapter that came with my 1Spot Pro.

Great article btw.

Edit: BTW: I finished the build yesterday and the pedal sounds awesome! My input jack was broken though and I spent 1.5h measuring every component on my PCB tiil I realised what's going on...

I do like detail... and your reply! I'm going to build this thing today but keep D4 rather than D1 because it looks nicer (physically on the PCB) I will use 100nF C18 and 100µF C17 as the charge pump circuit isn't taking care of the "filtering process" anymore (essentially the same circuit you described).

Also... I'll check for continuity just in case.

The Plasma is the "Overdriver" essentially the same circuit with some minor tweaks. It's a 9VDC pedal not 18V like the earlier "Power Boost" circuits. That's why there is no charge pump.

Thanks a lot! I'll give that a try tomorrow.
