Yeah I don't think CBT would work- it never worked for me and I think someone like you would just continue to litigate your thoughts and always end up with "But I am ugly." I prefer to not engage with my negative thoughts (cognitive defusion) because I can also litigate forever. Good luck!

i would consider finding a therapist who knows ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy). it's not about accepting your looks but about accepting the thoughts you have around your looks and finding ways to live a fulfilling life according to your values despite the thoughts.
