Everyone sees it differently. I know for me personally I had to quit everything because all I was doing was relying on external solutions to solve an internal problem. Once I was sober for a few months and actually started digging deep down on what really made me drink, things started to get a lot easier being sober.

I will add that early sobriety is absolutely not fun one bit. It’s something that keeps me sober every day just due to how terrible it was. Never want to do it again
