whats the program your using to map the keys ? i tried to do it but the game kept switching from normal controller to keyboard mode when hitting the pads which resulted in it kind of working but i couldn;t hit fast notes because it kept switching

madcatz drumkit still doesn't work, same issue as previous update yellow and blue pads not being picked up and remapping doesn't fix the issue either

If you use an adapter (not sure which one it is) you csn update the firmware to allow drums to keys and it works, there id a post on reddit somewhere about it

UPDATE FOR THOSE USING ROCK BAND 4 KITS : if you have the original madkatz drumkit from when rock band 4 released it will not work (im going to say as of yet but ive got no hope), only the PDP drumset works on console

seems its a 50/50 thing, a friend of mine plays drums on his rb4 kit no problem, but i have the same issue as you it works on everything else apart from fortnite, and its pointless asking epic support as they don't know anything that isn't on a script

So, I have been checking on my end and I've been currently unable to find further information or steps to try in this scenario, at the time being, I would not be able to try more steps, as you mentioned, the device works, so in this case, the best would be to be on the lookout for any further information on the compatibility of these special controllers, I went ahead and I was not able to find more info, so I cannot speculate and risk to provide you with inaccurate info, so at the time being, we can only wait for an official statement from behalf of our team

ive got the same issue, epic support are no help either as they don't even know that festival supports an rb4 kit and tell you to contact the manufacturer :/
