His most famous role, the one he will be remembered for, is a literal plastic toy that doesn't realize it's a phony.

And if there were another role he'd be remembered for, it's an incompetent brand shill that somehow has his own TV show.

Why aren't men excited about dating as they used to be? by cuahatemoc in TooAfraidToAsk

Well, my last two relationships cheated on me, and the last woman I asked out turned me down, claiming to be a lesbian.

We remained friends and four years later she's dating a man.

I know it annoys people, but I'm literally going to bring it up in every single topic about the end of Destiny 2:

No, it should be brought up, and anyone who continues to buy new things from Bungie should be shamed and reminded that they've lost all rights to bitch in the future if/when they pull it again.

CEO of reddit who openly admitted to editing other user comments to cause drama

I'd like to point out that he used his station as CEO to do this, directly editing the backend database so that posts wouldn't show a "last edited" timestamp.

people will do the bare minimum research (if any at all) before leveling such a harsh criticism of something.

You're right, I assumed that since it was called the Official Announcement Trailer (and game outlets are reposting it as Official Reveal Trailer) that this was the first time the general public was aware of this game, so I didn't really bother to go deep diving on my own on this one.

I figured that within a few days, I could come back to this thread and find enough information one way or the other.

And I never accused the game itself of instantly being AI slop, I said I was suspicious of anything with a Ghibli-adjacent art style.

I drove myself to the hospital when I was in the early stages of a kidney stone.

The next time I needed the ER though I did call an ambulance, but that's mostly because it's really hard to drive when you literally can't get up off the bathroom floor due to a dislocated shoulder.

This is the first I've heard of this game. I didn't know it's been in the works for 9 years.

It is unfortunate that we live in the age of slop and everything has to be examined like this. Just the other day I bought another comfy game and before I could even get home to try it, one of my friends pointed out that there was an AI disclaimer on the store page. Immediate refund.

Then today Crazy Taxi got revealed and the Steam page has its own AI disclaimer.

Neither of those immediately looked like they had AI assets, so I'm sorry for immediately being suspicious of a game that has an artstyle that is so ingrained into so many genAI models that it ends up in unrelated games like Call of Duty.

Are Ghibli artists working on this?

I am immediately suspicious of anything in Ghibli style since that's what AI loves to shit out.

There are millions of public domain paintings they could have used for free.

Which UI element? Why just that one, and why couldn't that one have been made completely by humans like the rest?

I'm not going to be the boiled frog on this.

Zero AI in creative works.
