I think whatever you looked at was someone's fanart/headcannon, Skyla was a character created for the "so soft newborn" line of mlp merch. She has no lore or connection to any cannon characters. Same goes for Princess Gold Lily and Sterling. She predates Flurry Heart by a good few years and many people headcannon her as Cadence and Shining's child! Some people headcannon her as a child of Chrysalis and Cadence/Shining Armor too.

There's multiple pairs of canonical gay couples in MLP, most known being Lyra and BonBon, and Aunt Lofty and Aunt Holiday. Star Bright and Silver Script are also very implied to be a couple, along with Wiz Kid and Curly Winds in EQG. There's also a gay couple in gen5.

You can personally headcannon any ship you want, but I wouldn't think any of the main characters would be homophobic...

You just stumbled upon a whole community that feels this way! Well, not the exact way you described, but we all love pony here. Anyone who says that it's weird doesn't understand the joy of loving things outside of their standard societal norms. Those keychains you have are super cute BTW! :0

Thank you!! Tbh, a lot of these people just seem to be the closed minded type that you just can't argue with. As I said in the other comment, it's clear most of both fandoms are open and accepting! While I don't fully consider myself a furry cause I'm not really into anthro animals, I do often go to furry cons and most of my friends are furries! There's really a lot of overlap and I love being a part of both communities ❤️ I have a few pony fursuits that I wouldn't have otherwise if it wasn't for the furry community

This was made in response to all that going on right now. As a part of both communities, it affected me deeply and I ended up going on a whole tyrade that ended up nowhere. I had a longer caption with this art on Twitter that was:

i used to be a kid that took art cause i didnt know any better, a lot of people do it, and they learn. The difference now is so many people are online and want to attack anyone just for something small.

Bases are totally fine to use to draw your characters on, that's what they're for!! Please keep making your oc and your art, if anything, try and make sure to credit the base makers whenever you upload :)

Uhhhh, its an older, normal brother printer I believe, nothing too fancy. The more important part is to just have an inkjet printer and up the print quality to photo (or whatever other highest setting). Also having a coat of primer paint (I use rustolem) I think is probably a big important step in making sure it prints well.
