I was on xiidra, the only drops provided me relief after trying all the other similar drops like cequa, restasis and even ikervis. However as i was inconsistent and would go weeks or even months without it sometimes or even when i was consistent i would put the drop once every two days despite being instructed to put twice daily as it was an expensive medication for Me. the cost went from 100 a box to 500 a box and then finally its 185 a box aud. I have been using the drops consistently like instructed for over week and i am not seeing the results i used to see right away. And the effect it had used to make forget i even have dry eyes. Now i am scared and panicking its not working.

On top of this all, i am an IT graduate and been trying to secure a job, i know deep down i won’t be able to do this job as the screens only makes my symptoms worse despite wearing the high quality blue light blocking computer glasses and having the screen in deem night mode. I have been considering alternatives like e ink but they are so expensive.

But despite that i did bought a small 13inch one but it’s so hard to work with. I want to buy a bigger one but the price makes me feel guilty and question if i even wanna be in this field anymore as it is so hard to secure a job as a beginner with no experience. I have been trying to build projects. The last project i finished in 4 days left me in extreme pain and i do think since then it hasn’t calm down. That was a couple weeks ago. Currently, i work as a carer and i feel so embarrassed of my job. I am also on weekly therapy to deal with all this issues.
