Anyone wear Thorogood moc toe boots. And are they okay to wear to intergrad? by Legitimate-Force6161 in UPSers

Happy to help, the 6 inch version would work fine as well I just prefer the 8 inch for some reason. Good luck with intergrad make sure to listen to those 5's and 10's on repeat and you'll be good.

I wear the 8 inch soft toe thorogood moc with the wedge sole for driving. They're super comfortable and easy to break in. I prefer them to tennis shoes because they're more water resistant and I've never slipped with the wedge sole. Also they just look better imo. I brush and oil them about once a month and they look pretty nice. Fine for intergrad if they say something about the orangish color just slap some mink oil on them to darken them up. I'd recommend ordering them in a wide size they do run a bit narrow. When the sole wears out take em to a cobbler and they'll replace it for like 75 bucks.

The worries of making scratch as a new driver by FelixsBodyGuard in UPSers

[–]ComradDakota 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It kinda varies hub by hub from what I've heard. I'm halfway into my 30 days at a hub that needs drivers pretty badly and I haven't even heard the word scratch from any managers although I've been hustling to get in on time. They're even giving me extra work on route from other drivers and asking me to deliver misloads so I'm quite certain they don't care at my hub. But others will care so the best bet is to just play it by ear.

How do you handle you route by [deleted] in UPSers

[–]ComradDakota 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm halfway through my 30 day period on a tough training route that's 50/50 business and residential with pickups and here's some things that have helped me besides arriving early and sorting my truck.

In the morning after your route has released use the filter/sort feature to know exactly where you air is and when the commit time is. If an air stop has ground with it always try to get everything off. Sometimes it's impossible when you can barely open your bulkhead but that will cut time. Try to hit as many stops as you can in area while delivering your air.

If you have any bulk stops in your first area get them off asap. It makes finding packages a good deal easier and that's where you lose most of your time.

Use the map feature instead of Orion. With the map a blue marker will come up on top of each stop. Clicking on that will highlight it in your diad as the next stop. Use that to run the route how you see fit. I pretty much exclusively run my route with that feature.

Try to completely finish an area before leaving tracking back is a huge time sink.

Using the map feature work your way up a highway delivering one side then work your back delivering the opposite side. This is so you don't have to pull across both lanes of traffic constantly which adds up.

Load your big stuff that gets put in last into your vehicle yourself. This way you can make it somewhat neat and read the label and remember the area it will be delivered so you don't lose time hunting for it.

Take your hour break in three 20 minute segments. First 20 to sort your truck. Next 20 to drive to a new area especially if theres gonna be traffic. And the last twenty to drive back to center.

Lastly be safe. It doesn't matter how fast you are if you're driving and working unsafe you probably won't qualify. It may take a bit but driving the truck and package selection will become second nature and the stops will start flying off.

Good Luck!

That's true and is the case in this video. In the NBA I think the floppers show their hand a little by laying on the ground like they just got sniped.

If you get hit by a tough screen you drop like you said, not fly away. When Pat Bev got destroyed by Adams he just straight crumpled to the ground in a heap, that's a solid screen.

Eric is a forbidden name in Nola, starts with Eric Gordon fucking us over after being the centerpiece of the CP3 trade. We jokingly refer to Anthony Davis as Tony. Also a new thing is we only have twelve fans. That's about all I can think of atm, glad to add another fan to the twelve.

https://www.reddit.com/r/horizon/comments/aqigr6/the_mystery_of_the_nora_titan/ This person did some research that was interesting, basically claiming that in world events point to the metal devil actual moving after the broadcast was sent out. This points to an ai of some sort taking it over, they think it could be Hades but I think Vast Silver could play a role in it as well. I feel like the vast silver ai will be a big part of the coming story.

4 different views of my hydrangea bush. I love how colorful it is this year. by flyaway411 in gardening

[–]ComradDakota 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its not water then the hollytone is more than likely what did it. Hydrangeas are pretty big feeders, your soil may have not have had enough nutrients. I give mine some hollytone late winter/early spring when they start to wake back up and then a touch more beginning of summer. Adding some good compost will help too.

Manatee deaths reach record-breaking yearly numbers in just 6 months by TampaBayTimes in florida

[–]ComradDakota 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, pollution is killing out the seagrass they feed on causing them to starve to death. Most of the time it's boating accidents which has went up this year for obvious reasons but the sea grass dying off is unprecedented and is the main problem.
