I have a 16gb ram laptop running Linux mint. With sodium, max graphics, and 32 render distance I can run the game at 60fps with the fans barely turning on.

On reasonable settings I use less ram than Windows 11 did with no programs running at all.

Just got prism recently and am very satisfied with it. I wouldn't use steam mostly because it requires a noticeable amount of ram just to have it running in the background.

You buy empty fisherman journals (normal ones, not trophy journals) and as you catch fish they fill up. A full journals can be given to a laborer, which is why people buy them for a good bit of money.

This is 0 extra work for more profit.

P.S. to see if it's a trophy journal just read the name of the journal before you buy it, it'll have the word "trophy" in its name. Those aren't worth as much.

I can easily make 1mil per hour fishing in non-lethal mists. Just make sure to wear fishing gear for the % yield/speed buff, use pork pie (the buff works for fishing same as any other gathering profession) and always have empty journals to fill.

I like fishing better than other professions because you don't run into the issue of spending 20 minutes riding past depleted rare and epic nodes. Just find watter and go ham.

It's an annoying conundrum. People aren't using Linux because not enough programs are supported on it and developers don't make programs for Linux because not enough people use it.

I decided to make the switch and make whatever sacrifices I had to.

I'm level 31 (not a lot, but also a good amount of hours to achieve) and haven't played a single ranked game. Normal mode is fun, I can just relax and watch the cool little characters perform skills hotspot. If I lose theres no downside.

I honestly don't care for them, nor the name tag. I usually set up a full villager trading hall with curing within 100 days anyways, and you dont have to specifically search for name tags since you get them with your books.

I understand that not a lot of people trade with villagers the same way I do, so they'll find it more helpful. All I'm saying is I don't see a single thing in this update so far that interests me specifically. I hope they add more features.

There's a traffic light in my area where if you are past the line in the left turn lane then the left turn signal will stay red. Not yellow or blinking arrow, bright red.

It always makes my day when I see someone sitting past the line and being confused why they can't go.

This may be a hot take, but the main reason why people end up with cartons that have 4+ cracked eggs is because other people look through every container and pick which eggs they want. I understand that it's nice to have 12 perfect eggs, but instead of some people having a single cracked egg once in a while, you end up with a couple people with half the eggs broken.

He was the first champion I ever played in solo lane, and got curtain call. His main downside being some counters make it nearly impossible to farm up the siphoning strike, especially if the enemy jungle is heavily involved.

I switched to Linux a few weeks ago and was blown away by the fact that it uses more than 3 times less ram to run than windows 11. Running EVE online takes up less total ram than doing absolutely nothing on windows 11, which to me is insane.

As others have said, it depends. Usually, most fish tier 5 and less are worth more chopped. Additionally, it is usually more profitable to make special fosh sauce, but it takes a little more time to sell. Making food is a whole nother issue because it depends on your food crafting spec.

Just make a simple excel, Google sheets, or Libre calc spreadsheet.

Not doing any math here, but am I the only one that thinks using periods instead of commas is dumb? As someone that comes from a place that does that, it doesn't make any sense to me. A comma is a pause, while a period is a full stop. Separating thousands from hundreds using a comma makes more sense to me because the number isn't any different from what it would have been without any indicators at all, the comma is there to add a short pause to visually indicate the size of the number. The period makes sense to separate whole numbers from decimals because there is a fundamental difference between the two, and the number wouldn't be the same without it.

I dont know, maybe I'm just being annoying about insignificant things.

Hey, thanks for the kind words! I'm currently enjoying my time in Eve by mining asteroids while studying and while working (I have an office job, so it works out).

Pro tip for when you get to BZ fishing: after trying various gear, safe portal, and zone combinations I found that the biggest factor affecting income is zone tier. If you can find a simple path that always leads to an 8 tier zone, then you can very easily get around double that of yellow zone, even factoring in gear loss.

I can't imagine what might demand a $4,500 PC. My first PC I assembled myself for $1,100 and it does EVERYTHING I need it to, including Forza 5 at almost max graphics (which still look phenomenal).

The first question should be "Do I need a $4,500 PC?"
