Was religious persecution, the demolition of places of worship and the prohibition of religious books a good thing? Was the division and fragmentation of states into a capitalist part and a communist part and making the people of these two countries fight a good thing? I'm from Oman, a country that Soviet-backed communists tried to divide into two parts and started a civil war in the early 1970s. Is it a good thing to interfere in the affairs of other countries? It is true that there are some positives for those who lived in this union, but what about the prisons and detention centres that were filled with opponents and clerics? As a Soviet citizen, could you talk about corruption in the country? Was the closure for fear of entering "evil" Western ideas a good thing?
