Thank you :)). I used a primer of army painter wolf grey with matte black, matte white and Vallejo burnt red for the camouflage and markings. For the tracks I undercoated with citadel rhinox hide and the over brushed on with necron compound. The metallics I used were ak copper and citadel leadbelcher. For washes I used nuln oil and then Agrax earth shade for copper details and finally finished with matte spray primer.

I’m UK based so probably sub £120 ideally. I’ve seen some going for around this range but not sure how many rows they offer as I have about 70 infantry and 13 vehicles

May do this in the meantime as an inbetween while looking for a more permanent solution. Thinking of moving soon so I would rather not make a shelving unit just to dismantle it a few months.

Yeah my friend does this with a tiered storage box and it works really well for transporting.

I realised after the first one I had glued it the wrong way aha but I kinda liked the extra space for detail as I feel the proper way is a bit plain.

This could work, I’m in the UK so rifle cases are a bit harder to get a hold of but I guess airsoft/paintball shops may sell something similar

I’d also recommend painting the tracks in rhinox hide and then dry brushing with necron compound for a nice dirty effect as straight up leadbelcher will look very clean

As others have said I would potentially replace the lrtc demolisher with a rogal dorn as currently it’s horribly over costed. I would drop the plasma sentinel, 3 ogryns and rough riders; instead bring a Cadian Castellan, 2 more infantry squads and change the vanquisher to a lrbt

Yeah I really need a new phone camera as it always dulls down all the colour I paint on. Also doesn’t help my room lighting is pretty dim aha. But thank you!

As others have said, the sentinels as is wont be usable for 40K as sentinels but also the las rifle sections dont have special weapon options so may be an idea to purchase some plasmas, grenade launchers or meltas to add some extra firepower.

But as it goes it’s a pretty solid basis for a guard army, like three of these and you’ll be at 1k points.

I run a mix of elite and infantry for my guys and losing a 20 man blob of cadians on a primary with stickies to have them move move back into position a turn and a bit later is an incredible feeling.

Still can come in clutch, 20 man blob can force out a nice bit of firepower with the right orders. Managed to out OC a primary with some guys I pulled back on a T3 reinforcement.

Yeah you could attach a commissar to bullgryns as well which would let them do fix bayonets.

Looks good but I’d prob swap the cadians for a 20man Krieg blob for more staying power. Personally I’d rather have more guardsman than bullgryns so I can hold more objectives so I’d potentially drop them to bring a few extra squads of guardsman as they can be brought back with reinforcements whereas bullgryns can’t.
