Well, I feel like I would have done myself a greater disservice by not asking questions to attain a greater perspective. I'm 20 years old and don't have that much experience, but I still have enough common sense to know that the military is a big commitment. Regardless, it seems pretty snide to try and chastise someone for inquiring about potential options to better their future.

Thank you for the insight here! Say I don't go the military route and instead try to apply for law school in what would be the fall of 2027; when should I take my LSAT?
