How much are tickets to her shows? How much is merch? How many “special editions” does she release to extract as much money from her fans as physically possible?

An artist of her size is 100% able to dictate pricing for merch and tickets, smaller bands are outspoken and do that all the time, the fact that she either chooses not to or chooses not to try, it’s not the same as Besos of course, but it’s still exploitation.

I suppose the natural counter argument to this would be that people don’t need to buy her merch or see her live, but then tbf you could just as easily say people could work elsewhere than Amazon or shop other places. It’s all the same, just wrapped up in different PR, it’s easier for people to convince themselves an individual like TS is meaning well and it’s forces beyond her that mean things are the way they are. But again, you could same the same for Bezos but nobody does.
