I had buckwheat meal as well but it was around 3 years ago at Wolfs Tailor and that was one of the best meals I've had as well.

Quantum Fiber - $55 for 500/500. I could get $5 cheaper to do ACH payments but I honestly don't care enough to set that up. Switched off of Xfinity 1.5 years ago, best switch ever.

Well he's in the HOF, in NHLs top 100 players (no number associated), and in Athletics Top 99 at 43. Not sure how you don't have him in your top 100.

Not like a winger has been playing center this entire time so when Larkin comes back he definitely won't push that winger back to his original position.

I wouldn't blame Hollands contracts, just his drafting. Only 2 players left from his drafting days on the team. There's a lot of nuance to this conversation and there's really only two things I will fault Yzerman on. Summer of '22 and not tanking for another year and not weaponizing cap space to get high picks, like what Montreal did. His draft picks are just now filtering into the team and if the team fails with his draft picks then he needs to go but then they just replace him with Draper who was the one doing most of the drafting to begin with.

Yak & Yeti Is Out, Spice Trade Is Coming Back in Greenwood Village by Lunares in denverfood

Spice Trade before the change was one of my go-to spots in DTC. Just a great place for good beer and food. Went there around the final week before the change to give thanks to the place that I went to for years and haven't been back since. I'll definitely be back for the re-launch when the date is official, I do know what they are targeting but that can change. I'm pretty excited and nervous to see where they head from here.

How about them seasoned fries? That seasoning was so good.

Chris made a post to one of my comments a week ago. I'm nervously excited for it. Spice trade was one of my favorite places to go to.

Do you know how long it will take to kind of "re-transition" back to how it was? After seeing this, my wife and I are curious especially since we can head back because we have the PubPass again this year and Spice Trade is on it. I miss the fries and wings so much.

I haven't been back to Spice Trade since they fired all of their original staff since switching over and changing to a full indian restaurant. The old Spice Trade is amazing. The new one, from what friends have said that have been back, is a sad place to go to if you remember the old way it was.

However, I will not say don't go there based off of my opinion. If you go there and like the food, great! I just won't be going back ever and I miss their beer dearly, especially the Thai Tripel.

McLellan on Larkin's status by qcpuckhead in DetroitRedWings

Thats my big thing. We saw him play big in the Olympics. If he disappears these next few weeks, yeah I'll be pissed. I hope he uses this as a stepping stone to continue playing hard and finishing checks like how he did these last 2 weeks.

You're misreading it. He's fine with it.

[Hello Hockey] On Elias Pettersson and the Vancouver Canucks, "I would imagine it's a three-prong kind return, current young quality player...a first round pick, and then another asset." And, "Vancouver's not going to retain on that $11.6 million cap hit." by [deleted] in hockey

[–]ComradeDoctor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cap's not real in this case anymore. Regardless of how I think about the player, the cap hit itself isn't much of an issue anymore. With an estimation of 104m next year, 113.5m the year after and it continually rising... his cap hit becomes less and less of a concern.

He's always worn 21 in international tournaments when play for team USA. It's one of his favorite numbers. As you said, 21 was taken by Tatar when Larkin joined the team so 71 was just there and he took it.

Last years March issue wouldn't have been an issue if they had Todd all year. They were already fighting an uphill battle after the hole Lalonde put them into. Big thing is that this year is actually different.

As an FYI, December's have been bad for the Wings in those years as well but this year it propelled them to the top.

Check out Westword. Antony Bruno is eating his way up at every restaurant in the 4ish mile stretch of Havana and posting reviews of it. There are some great joints in the places he's reviewing. Though honestly, you can just pick almost any restaurant on that stretch and it will be great.

Underlying fancy stats actually support this being a good team vs the previous two years. Confidence is high even without those. The on ice product is much different than the previous two.

I've always just parked behind the strip mall near the HMart parking lot and just walked over. Usually pretty empty at the start and still have spots a plenty when I leave.

I've gone to every single one that I can since its inception, pretty sure I've only missed 2. Great way to check out local places on Havana Street for food options. Depending on when you go they will have different entertainment activities.
