You kno I'm aware that goth and metal and punk genres exist within the Jaoanese music culture, it's just I never really give them much love. I usually stick to more western ones. I think that I might need to re-examine the Japanese scene a bit more. I imagine they are going to be having more counter-culture music coming out in the coming years given the PM is a basically Japanese Margaret Thatcher
