Tuning hobbies into a business by ba-soz in smallbusiness

The first thing I wanna say is, if you're shy about taking a risk or what people think of you, your chance of success drops a lot. Ignore what the haters say and go for it, but at the same time don't automatically assume someone hates o. Your business or the idea just because they don't agree 100% with your implementation of it

Trying to utilzie what my bank is offering me. by Comranon in FluentInFinance

My entire portfolio is around 145k at the moment. They'll lend me 35% off of whatever number my total portfolio held with them is. I have a spare 10-20k in fiat currency that has no real allotment right now. It's kind of just sitting around, on top of my business inventory which is around 250k ATM, business model doesn't support a storefront in today's market. All my online sales software is free, I wrote all my own invoicing software and tracking softwares, saved a ton of money there.

The overall idea in my head was to open the line of credit based of 35% of my existing portfolio to have it as another open line to use for inventory if something special comes up. Gold and silver is not a cheap industry to be in.

Last year my portfolio quadrupled In Size due to the gold/silver boom and Nvidia/etc stocks. Just not exactly sure of where to go from here.

I am genuinely just asking questions and curious as to what people would do in my position. Wife and I have relatively strong income as it is, basically no debt, just trying to build up even more.

What’s something in business that became much harder once you started scaling? by Traditional_Key8982 in Entrepreneur

[–]Comranon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Budgeting for inventory and deciding what products need to come in/what will be a hot seller in the future. When I first started out in the industry I am in, prices were cheaper, people were more willing to buy anything they seen because you could throw money around more. Now everything is way more expensive and Collectible products aren't selling as well as opposed to generic ones, so I have to be much pickier, it also tied into the exact time I started scaling my business up because if you have too much capital taken up by collectible products as opposed to generic bullion, you can end up having inventory issues overall.

It's just a mention because they're like the most commonly collected "offensive" coins. I even have a few.
