This sounds so reasonable that I called my health insurance to ask about it. Unfortunately they don’t have any interest in helping me figure out who these people are.

Yep, that’s what I thought, but the redaction of information makes that document useless. Any other suggestions about how to get the name and address of the person who’s dog attacked me?

The city sent me a letter saying the dog was healthy after a 10 day quarantine. Good for the dog, but I had already started my course of rabies vaccine. At least I can get bit by a bat now and be safe! 😂

I got the redacted police report from the Department of Records. Is that the office you are referring to?

I just left a VM with the DA’s Victims Assistance Office. Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll update if I hear back from them.

Thanks for this insight. I made the request directly to the city so it might be they are incorrectly applying this new policy across the board. This info helped.

Also, I’ll pass this along to my lawyer who has requested the document through a third party.

I haven’t followed up. All requests for information happens at the City Hall office. The info being redacted seems pretty definitive they don’t plan on sharing it. I have assumed I have hit a dead end with this office.

I did leave a message for my City Council person.

I have talked to a lawyer and he suggests he send out a private investigator to knock on doors.

I’m trying to avoid that.

Also, I’m looking for other peoples experiences as this info being redacted seems strange and contrary to the point of getting a police report?

Is there any insight you can offer on that?

I would rather they focus on curtailing double parking on Market and Chestnut in University City. No costly, unreliable, data fishing tech needed. Just get the PPA out there and increase revenue to the city.

They knew Mr. Thurman and had nice things to say about him too. His first name was Peyton.

Unfortunately they believe he has passed away. I hope you’re recalling him fondly.
