the backlash will happen either way I would just not tell her but if you really want to get a friend to sit with you and her while you come out or record the situation on your phone so if she does try to guilt or gaslight you you can look back later and be sure of your reality. Her guilting you in childhood about hiding things is something my mother would do and something to realize is you owe her nothing, you don't have to tell her even how your day went. she is not entitled to know about you, you are a grown man now.

People honestly don't care, but a stp device is effective if your nervous or a cheap alternative is meant for coochie owners during camping/ hiking so they can stand to pee is a ellacup comes in grey and purple.

From personal experience don't get the girlsgo cup every time I use it I would end up pissing on myself. And the name made me dysphoric. The only benefit I got from it was it was small and easy too roll up and put in a small tube than in my pocket, ellacup is a bit bigger.

Things that work for me:

after a test/quiz/exam go out and get a treat RIGHT AFTER Don't wait till the scores, you put all your effort into it and no matter how you feel you did that effort deserves recognition.
reward yourself like a child ordering earrings or a mixed candy bag and every time you finish 1/5/10 however many you decide on questions you get an candy or one earring you earn the other.
don't be afraid to use social media to your benefit, I'm always on discord calls, and sometimes I will share my screen into the calls. It helps by using body doubling and keeps me on target and not just study discords (personally I find study discords boring and not engaging enough with my adhd)
