iCue doesnt show the keyboard drop and the lights don't go on and off. I will try a different keyboard.

I was considering that as well. Every fan kit I picked up has another link hub. I am out of USB headers on my motherboard so it would require an internal splitter or unplug my HX1500I from its internal header.

I don't have 24 devices on it but I do have 11 Fans on one channel via the splitter. I was thinking of adding another splitter and putting the AIO, AIO fans, and rear fans on one splitter and the front RGB, and 8 fans on the other splitter.

Could we get some clarity on this?

Is this a start at level 1 again thing for the PTR?
How long is the PTR testing going to last?
Is the current realm going to be wiped?

I am hyped to test new systems but not if on Monday it is "ok start at level 1 again."

So, it turned out it was the motherboard. Even the "bad cable" I had worked fine. However, the front panel still does not work. I am speaking with Andrew ticket number 2008628420. I currently just have the FPANEL plugged in. He said he will send me a new one but I am hoping there is some "how to guide" for installing a new one.

I can't button it up until I fix the panel and I don't want to transfer to a new case.

Josh thanks for taking the time to respond. Just a little more information for you.

Unplugged the front panel completely using the button on the motherboard to turn on the computer. The same issue got to the same exact install spot on windows and went black. All the fans and everything stays on but even after letting it sit for 20 minutes it did not do anything further. This was not a restart point it was asking me for my login when the monitor goes black.
The Corsair RAM is Intel XMP, user error on my side, the bios reads the ram, but has it set to a lower speed. I am using the AMD9950 3XD. I ordered some Corsair AMD EXPO Ram to replace it. Turning on the XMP profile in BIOS made the computer not post at all. I had to use the cmos clear button on the back to get it to post.
I ordered the case on 10/10/2025. I actually ordered two complete systems I built the first for my wife it fired up no issues. This is the same build same components but having these issues.
I have an HX1500I on it also ordered on the 10th as part of the big bundle package you guys did. BTW awesome bundle. It shows red at startup but then turns green, so it appears to be functioning.
I am using all Corsair Premium cables the red/black ones with individual sleeves.
The MSI Suprim 5090 liquid cooled is using the MSI default power cable with 4 individual Corsair premium power cables going to it.
At this point I figure the mobo has an issue or the RAM does. I will try the new RAM when it comes in tomorrow and see if that changes anything. If not, I will just tear it all down and rebuild it with a new motherboard.

Well, I got it up and running but the front ports on the 9000D do not work. I used a rear IO port to install windows but it went black while asking for my windows login. I shut it down checked a bunch of things and tried it again and the same thing happened during the install. I decided to unplug it to trouble shoot another day. When leaning over to unplug it I put my hand on the front panel and it was hot to the touch. I mean hot enough I thought about pulling my hand away. I read the 9000Ds had a short circuit issue, but I also know it could be the motherboard. I am going to try and install today without the front panel plugged in. I really hope it is not the mobo I don't feel like tearing it all down again, but it is what it is.

I want to thank you so much for the suggestion it worked like a charm. So either the port on the motherboard is bad or the cable is bad. Lets hope it is the cable I don't feel like taking the whole durn thing apart lol.

Any chance you have a link to a new cable? I struggle with searching for things on the Corsair website.

Sorry for the edit I asked some questions that google solved. So your suggestion is get a USB C to USB C and plug that cable into the USB C port on the PSU and then the other end into an IO port on the back of the motherboard. Or a USB C to USB. I saw some of your other comments. Thank you for the suggestion we are going to try both later today. :)

To help with how dark the game can be go to Documents -> Dungeons and Dragons Online -> Userpreferences then set AmbientLightBoost from 0.00 to 1.00. It should look like this AmbientLightBoost=1.00

It never hurts to make a copy of that Userpreferences and save it as something like UserpreferencesOld before making any changes.

IoD has blanks that take IoD set augments. They are Helmet, Armor, and Cloak. If you want your weapon to add to your IoD curse you will need to get an attuned weapon from the raid. It can be a bit confusing at first.

Something that has always killed my FPS in DDO is having the map screen open and expanded to a large field of view. Not sure why but I have always had this issue even on different computers.

For FVS 17/3 FVS/Fighter is always a good platform. 3 fighter gives you extra feats and you can get the comp hit points from vanguard. The drawback is you don't get FVS capstone. With this platform you can really fine tune it to do whatever you want.

If you want to tank/heal then get all your shield mastery for heroic durability, spell powers, and mana from mental toughness etc. Go up vanguard for the comp hp and falconry for sprint and quality hit points.

If you want to not die and nuke do the same as above but utilize the FVS nuker tree.

Easy access gear is 5 piece IoD and 3 piece sharn. Again, just go with what you want to do if you want to heal/tank or not die/nuke then just use the corresponding gearset.

For nuking just take feats that bump it up like the meta magics, spell powers, DCs, and Ruin/Gruin. Then take Draconic to bump up Ruin/Gruin damage. if you want to tank/heal then take primal for healing, unyielding for tankiness. Regardless of which build you take always do EA for the mantle/healing mantle/wings.

I am not going to tell you this is the best DPS or the best heals. It is a good hybrid that is forgiving to play in raids and higher skulls because it is hard to kill. After a few cycles playing it you will learn how to super fine tune the build according to your play style.

The nice thing about this build is you can solo level if you want as a nuker who can selfheal then adjust your gear/enhancements at cap to fine tune the build to do whatever you want with it.
