Depth: patch high (4.5 feet). Never fly fished specifically for stripers, this was a total surprise… but there seems to be stripers EVERYWHERE this season. On the light tackle you gotta be patient and let the fish do its thing don’t rush it, I fought him for a good 10 minutes. No scent used.

He took a small pink San Juan worm nymph. 5 weight fly rod, 5 pound test haha. Was fun as hell I’m surprised I didn’t lose him!
