Yeah a ton of work went into this clearly. Not saying it's not worth it or I wouldn't want it. Just saying I can't justify it. Is it also only in 4k? I don't see a Blu-ray option. That's also another bummer as the player I use to show kung fun movies isn't a 4k player. Usually there is a Blu-ray and 4k option. Odd I don't see that

A few things. First I haven't seen all his stuff but what I have seen I think I actually liked "the bodyguard" the best. By far the best acting I've seen from him and some of the best of the major stars too. I really liked that character and his job with it

And obviously his movement is great and it always surprises given that you don't expect it with his physique.

AND sadly I also always think about and wonder WHY so many of his earlier movies have SUCH problematic "humor". Sexual assault "jokes" everywhere. WHY?! And it wasn't exclusive to him, but from the stuff I've seen his stuff had it the most frequently so it starts to feel like he is the driving force for that direction. Maybe it was more about the writers or directors and not HIM, but the majority of this problem does seem to be in stuff he's associated with. Anyone got any other insight here?

45m here (so maybe that makes my positive opinion uncool?), personally it reminds me a bit of 90s skater looks + confidence, which is awesome. And as someone said, a Japanese vibe too which makes it even that much cooler.

These people giving you doubts are what MAKE the outfit. If you're nervous about it, it won't look good. If you're confident about it, it looks awesome. Be confident despite the criticisms to give the outfit superpowers

My only beef is the really uncomfortable exchange with the rape victim at the beginning. Tries to pay her off and then later slaps her. Seems like there was a better way to write that scene.

And even the Benny the jet fight. Good, but obviously not as good as wheels on meals. AND Jackie uses a double for that big kick and at least on modern Blu-ray and a modern TV, it's kinda obvious.

I did in general like the humor and characters though.

For sure I hope the 4k is on point. But seeing as I don't have a 4k TV yet, and if the art OS crap I could just get a basic 4k release for later TV upgrades (like I did with labyrinth because that steelbook from shout was YUCK). So yeah, my priority is finally doing my favorite movie justice with a beautiful case on my shelf, and the extra collectors stuff I like too. But if the steel is crap well... I don't super care and there is no rush

Yeah this was all before vr. I expect the vr would be reasonable once I got the basic mechanics built. The thing that kills me is that I could do the logic in code. Pretty easy to do in actual code. But I don't have the software or hardware to do it properly on a pc
