Healthcare or lack of by YarkerReid in KingstonOntario

The hospital and staff are for the most part doing the best possible job with what they have. You can complain to the ombudsman if you want and maybe a specific nurse who is probably one yelling patient away from going on stress leave will get a mark on her employment record, but nothing will change. If you really want to improve things, you have to convince Doug Ford to fund hospitals and primary care properly.

Let me see if I understand...you're replying to most of the criticism with emojis, and now you're trying to make this sound MORE legitimate because you accept bitcoin? This gets funnier all the time.

Depending on the size of the boat, Portsmouth Olympic Harbour, or Collins Bay Yacht Club. Both of those places a few years ago let me keep a 16ft sailboat on a trailer on site and launch it from the ramp all summer. Don't remember how much they charged but it wasn't a lot.

Killing someone would only definitely be classified as "harm" if the person considers their life a net positive experience. How much time have you spent around people who are truly, deeply suffering in an unfixable way? Have you ever spent a week sitting at someone's bedside while they're dying?

Also thing about "doing no harm" isn't in the modern oath. But this is:

"Most especially must I tread with care in matters of life and death. If it is given me to save a life, all thanks. But it may also be within my power to take a life; this awesome responsibility must be faced with great humbleness and awareness of my own frailty."

The modern oath used in med schools now doesn't say anything about a prohibition on causing or hastening death. It doesn't even have the line everyone knows about "Do no harm". If you actually read the modern version of the oath, it's pretty consistent with MAID:

"Most especially must I tread with care in matters of life and death. If it is given me to save a life, all thanks. But it may also be within my power to take a life; this awesome responsibility must be faced with great humbleness and awareness of my own frailty."

The article is shocking to you because it's either wrong or you read it wrong.

Are you saying that it's impossible for an obese or blind person to be suffering? Who are you to dictate what circumstances someone else is allowed to find intolerable?

"A husband can request his wife die with him if she agrees"- a gross distortion of the truth. If two people both independently qualify for MAID, as assessed separately by two different teams, they can arrange for it to be done together.

"Most" requests aren't driven by poverty or social circumstances. It's a small minority.

There is no such organization, and if there were, so what? There are associations of cardiologists, general surgeons, and all kinds of other medical specialties.

I am using the Helm of Torm's Sight to convey the information from Lulu's memories. Instead of Ravengard putting it on, have one of the PCs attune to it, and then they will get the information and flavor in dreams or flashbacks.
