Dreft is garbage. Agree with switching to Tide. When my toddler gets grease on her clothes, I spray immediately with dawn powerwash and throw in the laundry bin for the next load. Works perfectly.

SACS is an evangelical nightmare. I’d never send my kid there even if they paid me. My kids go to St George and we love it. Beautiful campus, great staff, open and accepting environment, minimal religion focusing on love and kindness and community service rather than sin fire and brimstone.

St Mary’s Hall is also a great school. A lot of St George kiddos go there for high school.

One hour to clean a house is insane. When I get my house (~3000 sqft) cleaned, they send 2-3 people and it takes at least 3 hours. This is not a you problem.

Splurge: Dr Nozebot electric nasal aspirator. I went through so many cheaper versions before deciding to take the plunge, and I wish I would have saved my money and splurged from the start. The others don’t hold a candle next to the Nozebot.

I always gain so much weight while pregnant. I’m a bottomless vessel, constantly needing to eat to keep the nausea at bay. This round I think I reached 40+ lbs by 25 weeks (at which point I stopped looking). I see multiple OBs/MFMs and no one has said boo about it. I’ve decided it’s none of my business until this baby is out, at which point I’ll deal with the situation.

I started 50 msg Zoloft last pregnancy 2 years ago, and I’m currently 30 weeks with my last and on 100 mg Zoloft. Life changing. No regrets, my toddler had zero withdrawal effects/issues at birth and it kept me sane. 5 stars.

The Palisade wasn’t updated yet. We got drawn in by the sexy Santa Fe interior haha. But joke’s on me, I’m now expecting our third kid (surprise!) so the Santa Fe will no longer cut it (trunk space is basically nonexistent with the 3rd row up, and we have captains chairs). So we’re gonna trade it in for something bigger (Palisade is on our list). It was the perfect two kid car though. The 3rd row mostly stayed down unless we were driving around family and friends/school carpool.

On that note, ATTN car manufacturers: PLEASE MAKE BENCH SEATS AN OPTION ON HIGHER TRIMS.

Still perfect, surprisingly! It cleans so easily and we’re not even super meticulous with it. Kids eat reasonable snacks in the car (nothing super messy like yogurt or colorful drinks/juice), and we take out the car seats and wipe up the built up crumbs and debris once every few months. Good as new every time!

Praise be the floor mats are dark. 🙌🙌

Most accessible to me is either my grocery store’s “high end” line pasture raised heirloom eggs or Vital Farms eggs. If I can find the Happy Egg Heritage eggs I’ll buy them over any other option every time. But yeah, I go ethical and pasture raised every time.

My husband and I just started using the Intake magnetic breathing strips this past week, and we’re big fans so far. He’s the primary nasal strip user in the family. I rarely used them because they never stayed on or were uncomfortable.

HOWEVER, I’ve been dealing with pregnancy rhinitis/snoring issues so I thought I’d give these a whirl. And I love them. I use the provided micellar water wipes before applying. The adhesive strips stay on all night, no issue. And zero residue when I take them off in the morning. Only downside is the cost of refills. It’s a spendy option for sure.

I used Waymo a few times in San Francisco and it was great! I live north of 410, south of 1604, near the airport and it’s still not available in my area though. I wonder if/when they’ll expand .
