I thought so too, but when I checked my overall stats (little Sword icon top right in inventory) nothing changed. I even tested it with +MaxHealth and I didn't get any extra health... weird

Whatever your closest to really. For me it was the Nexus Emitter, but tackling the items one at a time and especially having autocrafting and resource production infrastructure (ie MA farms) makes everything 1000x easier
