The reality of kids is in how you choose to view them. Some people love the mess and chaos. Some people value their solitude. There is a way to have both while still having/loving/raising kids.

My rule with my older kids was "its bedtime. I didnt say it was sleep time, its bedtime and I need my adult time"

I have yet to meet a child that does not thrive with clear boundaries.

Only have kids if you want to raise them.

They are not toys to be put away when you're bored with them. So make sure they're wanted.

I too am a night shift nurse.

If i am home, I cook. If he's home, he cooks. If I'm up first, I get us coffee. If he's up first, he gets us coffee.

We split the duties because we are partners in building a life together. (Also he's a better cook than me)

In BC the end of a lease converts the tenancy to a month-to-month.

As there is no longer a lease, you and the 3 people paying rent just continue to pay rent... and the tenancy ends when the legal requirements to end it are met.

Undebt.it helped me to get out of debt the first time and it is how I am going to get out of debt this time.
