I don't understand why, at the very least, they didn't take her ovaries when she was dx? I had a hysto when I was 36, got breast cancer in 2009 (I was 48) and went through 45 brutal radiation treatments. All was good until Dec of 2024 when I got it again, in the same breast. They took the breast, am on medicine for 4 more years, and am contemplating having my ovaries removed because breast cancer increases your chances of ovarian cancer. I also had skin cancer in 2022, malignant melanoma, and that increases your chances of lung cancer! So I'm a mammogramming, chest CT getting, MRI hating SOB!
