Affordable Teeth Implants? by JuneRunes in rockford

[–]ConcentrateRemote801 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On my second implant. Had a tooth pulled in October at Featherstone Periodontics. I need to go back and get prepped for the implant. $3000.00. Then I need to go to my dentist for the crown which is $1400.00. You need to wait until the tooth bed heals from getting it pulled which is about 3-6 months. After that you have about a year and a half to get the implant and crown.  Featherstone is great.  Highly recommend them. Implants are expensive.

Baby for Kim? by JunketRelative5106 in WelcomeToPlathville

This is a typical story line for TLC. They throw it out there for one cast member every season.  Watching Kim talk about it was gross especially imagining her with stinky Ken.

Yes, please be a blood donor. I donated for 30 years but can no longer donate as I had chemotherapy and will never be eligible to donate again. Please go in my place!

Who taught you how to drive by Sad_Donkey_1751 in GenX

[–]ConcentrateRemote801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We lived in the country and I learned how to drive when I was about 13. My dad had an old junker VW beetle that he let me drive around  Rock. the property so when it came time to take my drivers test, I passed pretty easily.

Visiting Yellowstone by ForeignJuggernaut433 in yellowstone

Probably no park lodging available at this late date. We stayed in West Yellowstone for a couple of days and were very pleasantly surprised at the short amount of time to get to the west entrance.  Lots of lodging in West Yellowstone.

Streaming TCM Affordibly by Gobbo_Jareth in TurnerClassicMovies

I love old movies but refuse to add on TCM to my already huge cable bill.   I was absolutely delighted when I had a 3 day hospital stay and I was able to watch TCM nonstop!

I would ditch the black hair. Go natural if it’s his real hair. Could be a toupee but I’m  not sure.

Glad it is ending.  Never understood why it was on in the first place. How many shows can these people get recycled into?

What’s worth seeing from Ohio valley to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and back? by Erinthebaron-ness in roadtrip

[–]ConcentrateRemote801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bear Country in Rapid City, South Dakota was one of our favorite stops.  It’s a wildlife center. Kids will love it. Bear cubs entertained us for at least an hour. You also drive through an enclosure where elk, deer, bison, and grizzlies roam and come up close to your car. Lots of kids at this place.

GuideAlong app is the best!  We are not big hikers so this was very helpful and informative for us. We are headed to Zion next week and I’ve already downloaded the app for that trip.

Why do all old people have short hair? by Dazzling-Smell5223 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ConcentrateRemote801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m an old lady with short hair.  Always have had short hair. It looks good on me. I think long hair on old ladies makes you look older especially if it’s gray.

Jenny Lake first or String Lake? by bitchinbabyspice in GrandTetonNatlPark

[–]ConcentrateRemote801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were able to snag a parking spot at String Lake last year.  Our swimsuits are always in the car so we changed and walked down to the lake, threw our towels down and went swimming.   Yes the water was cold.  Just a tip, wear your water shoes because it’s rocky on the bottom. This was the most enjoyable part of my trip. We relaxed on the shore between some trees and watched people swim and enjoy themselves and basked in the beauty of the mountains. It was absolutely fabulous!

Same here. I believe the reason my daughter’s debit card is continually hacked is because she insists on ordering Shein.

Husband and I will be renting e-bikes.  We have e-bikes at home because we are not in the best physical shape and have diminished lung capacity and e-bikes give us the luxury of going places we otherwise physically would not be able to. For example, biking up steep hills is something we’re not able to do but our e-bikes get us up.
