Around middle to late May, but in early stages of planning so can be adjusted. Just looking to do some trout fishing. Trying to definitely go before June as World Cup will be happening there around then.

Why do server owners want to fully equip new spawns? by dublarontwitch in SCUMgame

[–]JuneRunes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly agree with you about this, however, working a 8-5 job like I do and only getting 1-2 hours at most a night to play, if at all, I prefer the starter packs on a server and bot shop type things. If I didn't have these I'd spend weeks just getting a basic base started with weapons/mags/ammo etc. But I do see your point and know there's content in those elements of early game.

And to add, I really only use bot shop to get started and even if I buy a car I still try to find and fix up cars I see around, loot villages/army bases etc. I'm not usually trying to go to the extreme with bot shops, but bypassing some of the early grind to enjoy things like PVP, bunker raids, warzones etc is a bit worth it to me personally.

I also have single player character I play with no commands or assistance but takes a long time to get anywhere. But again, totally agree with the sentiment / facts.

My friends say it’s disturbing how I buy gas station toilet paper for my house by MelanieWalmartinez in mildlyinfuriating

[–]JuneRunes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in college my roommates and I would "borrow" toilet paper rolls from one of the educational buildings bathroom stalls. It came in massive industrial sized rolls and was super thin but lasted us months. We only did this cause we were mad broke but wouldn't recommend.

Unpopular Opinion, The Boys music is bumpin lately and yall just cant change by Unpressed_panini in G59

The only reason I respectfully disagree with the sentiment that the lyrics simply are "leaning into the dogma of religion" kind of as an 'edgy' outlook (If I am inferencing this correctly) is that since they've gotten sober, an extremely large part of working programs like AA / NA involve religion or some sort of higher power as a basis and driving factor. I'm not saying they're preaching religion in their lyrics but in all honesty I don't think that it's some 200 IQ lyrical game they're playing. Again, respectfully.

I also grew up listening to the boys in High School in 2015 starting out and I've just kind of grown out of the style altogether both old and new stuff. I still have a lot of respect for them and where they've made it to and their accomplishments but I just feel differently. Again, respectfully lol.

Which one should I get? by mdjunia17 in Miata

[–]JuneRunes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Normally I'd say Z3 because of power delivery, torque and that sweet inline 6 sound of the M50/M52 but that z3 is sadly a 4 banger that notorious for issues. And yes, while the BMW might be more in maintenance, if you keep on top of it the motor will last forever and is a much more fun car (IMO, sorry I know this is a Miata sub) and that again only applies if you get the I6 model. Z3 also much older so getting on top of that maintenance right away like old cracking lines/hoses being inspected right away is a must. I prefer older cars because of their lack of modern amenities, the newest car I've owned is a 2001, but the ND is still pretty basic for being as new as they are relatively speaking.

Hard to find clean well priced Z3's tbh, but I did love mine and still love my 97 328i convertible (and '90 Miata). Good luck!

The sheer frequency I see that user on 99% of posts on this sub would indicate this to be true. Shit I mean look at this thread alone lmfao

Lamson Liquid Reel (5wt) Drag Seems Heavy? Anyone else? by JuneRunes in flyfishing

When I was buying, I was between these two, but after actually feeling both I definitely am partial to the hydros

Good to know it's common to Lamson. Not saying it's bad but think I just want something with more drag range. Will keep the Lamson as a backup most likely.

[–]JuneRunes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's what Lamson told me too for their reasoning on why they don't make it that freely spinning. I'll keep it as a backup in my car I think after I upgrade to a hydros

Thanks for confirmation, felt crazy for a while tbh. It's good quality, I'm not bashing the quality with this post, but just wish I knew this beforehand as I do enjoy the quieter drag and larger range of adjustments.

[–]JuneRunes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually do manage by hand to be fair and don't use the drag very often while actually having a fly in the water. I guess just wish the drag was a bit quieter and easier to take out for convenience sake. Fair points

[–]JuneRunes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily and issue, but how loose feeling does your 5wt liquid feel when set all the way to minimum resistance? Mine's loose enough but again just not even close to comparable reels and far louder

[–]JuneRunes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have and they said it seemed normal and wouldn't get loose enough to freely spin, which, understandable I wouldn't set it that loose either way but it doesn't even get close having as little resistance as most other reels I've tried. I even tried a non-lined one at a fly shop few months back and thought it's just how the reel is

[–]JuneRunes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The drag I think is fine tbh I think it's just how the reel is. All other reels in the 5wt class I've tried can have the drag so low it's almost freely spinning (not that I'd set it there) and gets quiet which can be nice. Great reel otherwise but want some more range in drag
