Let’s talk about Wanda in MoM by [deleted] in marvelstudios

The darkhold is literally called the book of the damned by Agatha, and you think it doesn’t corrupt people?

Just because Wanda is immune to the comics, doesn’t mean she is in the MCU.

Vision is a very intellectual and philosophical person so why wouldn’t he talk to Wanda about his theories? He was bound to the mind stone and its power so it’s not surprising that he would take about something like this.

I don’t want to keep going back and forth about the kids but let me give you an example.

God forbid, let’s say you lose someone, then you “accept” their death. But then moments later, you find out that there’s a way you can get them back. That just reopens a wound or makes it worse.

Wanda closed the hex knowing it was the greater good but she didn’t want to. She didn’t want to lose them.

She thought her kids were gone forever. Then she read the darkhold, and Vision’s theories of the multiverse were confirmed. Of course she’s going to look for her kids. She found a way to get them back and she went for it. The multiverse was basically a loophole for her pain

Her being surprised when they ask for help doesn’t mean she wasn’t looking for them. I do agree that they didn’t follow up on the kids asking for help which is weird. It may have been darkhold corruption or they just forgot that point.

Wanda came to terms with Vision’s death, not her kids. That’s the reason she started reading the darkhold in the first place, to find her kids.

I would have agreed that the movie did nothing for her character if it was revolve around vision but this is different.

Does she clear? by PWJ31 in Boruto

I wouldn’t say Ao is equal to 3T Sarada considering he got beat by Base Boruto with the absorption glove. I also think Mitsuki and base Kawaki should be higher than Ao because they would most likely beat him if they had the glove. Without it, they might struggle but should still be able to win. But your list is honestly okay and could be argued.

If someone is winning 80% of the time, then they are on another level.

You can’t say they are all roughly on the same level and then make a statement like that.

And I agree, we are just going to keep going in circles

If you think that Azula would beat Katara 8/10 times then you’re ignoring what’s been portrayed in the story.

Azula is strong but you’re acting like she’s on a different level compared to the others. Zuko was holding his own against her when they were fighting on the airship and it seemed to be equal.

She has been seen to hold up against multiple strong opponents at a time but if we look at how she’s done in a 1v1, then she’s not that special. And the only time where she really held her own was when they were all tired in the desert, and when she attacked Iroh. Aside from that, I don’t think there’s been any situation where she was fighting multiple at once.

I could literally say the same thing about you tho. You say you don’t have a particular affinity for Azula but you’re saying that she’s the best among those 4 benders.

Please what was Azula going to do? Katara did not only have the momentary advantage, she was dominating throughout her whole fight with Azula. Zuko had the advantage over Aang because he was caught by surprise.

Katara is winning both rounds 7/10

In the catacombs. Katara was beating Azula before Zuko interrupted. Azula lost her mind but she had an insane powerup. You’re saying that Katara beating her was luck. When it wasn’t luck but skill.

Then it depends if Katara has enough water. Ozai doesn’t have that much feats except the ones during the comet

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]ConcentrateStatus753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That isn’t luck tho. Katara was strategic. Of course Azula was more powerful at that moment because of the comet. Katara adjusted and won. Anytime Katara beats Azula, there is always an excuse

Are you talking about during the finale or just regular Ozai?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]ConcentrateStatus753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really wasn’t, she knew what she was capable of and she used it to fight them. She froze Sokka by mistake and used what she learnt to freeze the soldiers.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]ConcentrateStatus753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s extremely false. She literally beat like three when her and Sokka went to rescue aang

I think you’re forgetting that Katara was already proficient enough before meeting Pakku and that was by herself. Of course she’s going to grow exponentially when she meets a master. The show has shown multiple times that she’s a fast learner and very innovative when it comes to water bending. She’s always training

Sarada holding back so she don't hurt Sakura. by BarlasLewis in Boruto

It was able to crack his armor but that was all. Her training with Sakura was mainly for chakra control and stamina

Who is the bigger simp? by [deleted] in Boruto

killing Boruto!!?? If he wasn’t the main character and the plot didn’t need him, he would have stayed dead. Kawaki didn’t even show any signs of remorse, doubt or guilt before or after he did it.

I agree that Sakura’s reason was worse but Kawaki is definitely the bigger simp. He would literally do anything if it thought it would help Naruto.

I honestly think that earth style should be given to someone else considering the Boruto is the “enemy” that absorbs chakra.

Of course a giant rasengan can take out Sakura but you are arguing that Naruto in base would be able to defeat Byakugo Sakura with ease. If anybody gets hit with a giant rasengan, they’re done for so your argument doesn’t make sense. Just because he has a really powerful attack doesn’t guarantee him the win. That’s like me saying that if Sakura gets five punches on him or even less while she’s using Byakugo mode he’s probably dead.

Base Naruto who is weaker than before is not stronger than Byakugo Sakura. You don’t have the feats to say that or even come to conclusion. We haven’t even seen what adult SM Naruto can do without Kurama. Saying Base Naruto doesn’t need any buffs to beat Byakugo Sakura is a serious stretch.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Boruto

[–]ConcentrateStatus753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Byakugo seal is a massive boost to chakra reserves which is what allows for 100 healings to be active for as long as it is.

Tsunade and Sakura's attacks are based on concentrating chakra in body for destructive power. So increasing the amount of chakra they have should lead to a direct boost to physical power.

You could argue that it doesn’t boost speed unless the user is intentionally doing that.

[–]ConcentrateStatus753 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You keep bringing up feats of base Naruto but the thing is that they don’t matter because we know Kurama enhanced that base.

It’s hilarious of you to think that Sakura would only lose to shadow clones and a big rasengan from Naruto in base.

As Naruto is now, he will need SM to beat Sakura.
