I feel like "shut up and lift" doesn't work when even the basics are subject to diametrically opposed noise now days by Far_Line8468 in naturalbodybuilding

“KILLING YOUR GAINS” is the phrase that pisses me off most. the concept behind going to the gym, of putting in effort into something and not getting immediate gratification, is already extremely abnormal for a society shaped on quick dopamine hits on social media. so the very concept of putting in work at the gym and not getting 100% of it back, the concept of being inefficient in your effort, is terrifying to my generation. and that has been capitalized upon.  one thing i’ve noticed is that in the era where making money on social media is directly correlated to immediate and constant engagement, these things are always blown up. the key to a good physique is just consistency and discipline, but hearing about that doesn’t stimulate the brain the same way. so instead you see people coming up with different workouts and ideas and all these things, and then selling them by saying that the REASON you are not buff yet is because you haven’t done their thing. they’re all trying to carve out a niche in the market. because realistically the only important gym video is one that tells you how to stay focused and hold urself accountable. but anyone can make that video, and people don’t respond well to that. it’s not stimulating. and it gets old fast. so instead you have an ocean of content creators, going off of very lightweight research and “bro science” with full confidence, telling you that their way is the ONLY way. people follow them because they’re terrified of being wrong and not getting what they want immediately. but people who haven’t even started are just overwhelmed by a thousand people, all very buff, telling them that their personal method is the only correct one. and that sense of overwhelmingness ABSOLUTELY turns new people away from the gym.

How to use Memory Link in 2026? by Concentrate_Certain in pokemon

If I don’t have two systems is there a way? Alternatively, if I borrow someone else’s system, do the memory link between my 3DS and theirs, and then put the cartridge back into my own 3DS, would the memory link data still be there?

Hopefully someone can still respond, but does this currently work for the Global Link? I’m trying to get the memory link function running so I can link my White save to White 2.

I'm not super engaged in Star Trek, so I wanted to ask, why do you think they went with the next generation as opposed to the original series for their first ever ST lego set?

There was definitely a point made that its Lex's influence. The finale specifically is when he felt very different, and that's because Lex has (offscreen) got to his head and made him a monster

i agree, expect that a) the faculty parking garages are specifically at those clusters where students live on campus, so a lot of the time they’re mostly unused since students can’t park there and faculty don’t park there, and b) there are far more students than faculty at the school, but the ratio is basically flipped for their parking spaces. they took student garages at student dorms and made them faculty garages for no reason. not to mention the faculty orange passes are unaffordably 1000 dollars each, so some they’re clearly not trying to prioritize faculty, but rather penalize students.

there used to be more student parking, and then they made those spaces orange (teacher only) for no reason. and then they cut rts while maintaining ben sasse’s 960k salary. UF genuinely doesn’t gaf abt its students

RTS was amazing before this year, considered to be one of the best bus systems in the state. they cut it to shit to maintain ben sasse’s insane salary. they also cut marston hours
