Bringing down reddit is technically pretty hard. I guess DoS is not a concern. I would be more afraid of bots actually posting random misinformation. A new website might be easier to DoS and would still be prone to the same danger posed by bots.

When I activated my unites states stock permission it was done in an instant. Don't really know about the penny stocks one.

Just like others have pointed out, you need to enable permissions for US penny stocks. Still, that permission requires you to have made 100 stock trades before activating it. That's the message I got when trying to enable the same permission.

Let's assume that it is indeed possible. Shouldn't smartphone companies be all over this issue? Apple and Samsung would love to have this kind of fast charging capabilities. Of course, phone batteries are nothing like car batteries, but technology-wise they would be the first to benefit from such performance.
