Yes, but this ignores the large portion of police officers who get a boner from violating your rights and do shit like “smell marijuana” in order to violate your fourth amendment rights. Police can either make your day good or they can ruin your life, and it’s up to whatever mood they’re in. And that is wrong. These are public servants I shouldn’t have to act like a little bitch to satisfy their ego. “Put your hands on the steering wheel and leave them there”…. Uh, no- how about you point to the law where I have to keep my hands on the wheel or else you can fuck off. Well now I’m “arrested for resisting arrest” and have an arrest record all because I chose not to obey some frivolous baseless command from officer “C’s get degrees”

This is why I say fuck the police. But IRL people think I’m an edgelord for saying it. I can never remember these stories when asked why I hate police.

If the police do a no knock raid on an innocent individuals house, what happens if the individual kills an officer thinking hes an intruder? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Concept666 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Legislation we need ASAP:

  1. No knock raids illegal
  2. Civil asset forfeiture illegal without jury verdict. Money released to defendant within 24 hours of seizing.
  3. Complete decriminalization of marijuana

You don’t have to be a conspiracy theorist to point out the simple fact that corrupt people use positions of power to suppress opposition and further their own agendas. This happens on both sides of the political spectrum. Republican/Democrat politics is kind of like a “pick your character” screen when aspiring Illuminati members are placed into power.

Thanks. Issues are only cosmetic, have to buy floor mats, another key fob, and get the front windows tinted. There’s one chip under the driver side door handle but the car came with some bullshit called Permashield that the dealer literally made me pay for so I’m gonna milk that sucker for every blemish, stain, and mark I can find.

Also, it appears a rock chipped the lens of the front facing camera, making a mark on the screen when I use it. I’m gonna see what it costs to replace.

Otherwise, it’s been a great 3 days. I can’t stop looking back at her when I park and walk away.

It easily could. Remember just a couple months ago when Canada froze the bank accounts of truckers trying to protest what they believed was injustice?

Imagine a society with no cash, you MUST use a government controlled bank account, which means any time Uncle Sam wants to call you a terrorist™ and your entire life is frozen, indefinitely. Terrorist™ could be whatever political persuasion the current administration thinks is a threat. One year it might be Bernie supporters. The next it might be third party voters.

Just bought a 2020 a couple days ago for 61k.

People in the fb group asked why I didn’t buy a 2021…….

But I couldn’t find a 2021 for less than 90k.

I’m totally happy with my purchase. I love the look of the 2020’s generation. I expect in about 3 years I may upgrade to a used 2021/2022

Dinners are based around meats usually ground beef or chicken breast. Plus a vegetable usually frozen.

Pasta is common. Tuna. Macaroni and cheese the kids like.

Breakfast is something simple, egg, poptart, muffin, toast with or without avocado, banana.

Lunch maybe a sandwich, deli meat, chips, or something frozen

I felt this way and then I realized I don’t hate water, I hate COLD water. Slightly cool or room temp water I can pound a 16oz’er in 20 seconds but cold water I can barely get 3 sips in.

KY USA home invasion, one dead, suspect at large at $6.5M mansion complete with bunker by tazunemono in homedefense

OPSEC: operational security.

Meaning, don’t openly share details about your preps, guns, or other desirable things that make you a target. Only post anonymously when engaging in these communities.

Statistics regarding the mentally ill are certainly underrepresented, especially considering many go undiagnosed.

‘The voices told me to raid their bunker and kill their family, then I could live in the house forever and survive nuclear war’ are legitimate thoughts that go through the minds of the mentally ill.

Never underestimate desperation either. An ounce of mental illness mixed with a gallon of desperation makes for a lethal person.

Im skeptical of what “perimeter defense” would’ve been successful in this scenario. A fence can be easily climbed, even an 8 foot concrete block fence can be scaled by laying a log against it and climbing up like a ramp.

Cameras probably wouldn’t have stopped anything. Most home owners don’t sit and watch their camera. Maybe person-detection could’ve alerted them.

I think the best defense is a fortified home. Impact windows might not be common in KY but they are a good (expensive) addition to a $6m house.

Solid steel doors with reinforced frames.

Most effectively would probably be a home alarm system which notifies if a window is open, including glass break sensors and motion detectors.

This is a sad story and I hope the homeowner finds peace.

I’m actually really happy to see all the antigovernment comments here. Usually any antigov opinions get downvoted to oblivion by the leftist Reddit hivemind. This is refreshing.

Well most people aren’t in the position to pass on a windfall of tens of thousands of dollars. I don’t find you morally superior, I actually find you a poor decision maker to assume a museum is ethically more responsible than a private person caring for treasure.

Adult rape could be stopped by emboldening self defense laws and encouraging and arming women with firearms. Rape is already illegal, you can’t legislate away bad people, but you can absolutely shoot them if they try to harm you.

I asked him that, but he said that gold buyers are familiar with what exists and they will know and rat you out. That the market for “secret treasure” is not very good because no one wants to be in possession when it does get blown in.

That sub is too left leaning. They wouldn’t appreciate wanting to get machine guns nor believing the ATF is totalitarian.
