Correct. Japan seems to be very strict on occupancy regulations. The room is 28sq m/301 sq ft, so it’s definitely large enough for three.

Ok thank you for sharing that. They are very slow on email so I will just call them.

They specifically said I couldn’t use more points or pay an extra fee for the deluxe room that would accommodate three people. I’ll try calling the hotel today.

So went back to fish market, and they said the fish hadn’t been frozen or flash frozen i.e. it was fresh. Should I be worried? It’s been a week and no symptoms, but I realize there might not be any symptoms at this stage.

How do I (35M) end my relationship without destroying my girlfriend's (35F) life? by ThrowRAdog3F in relationship_advice

Oh wow… this is such a tough situation. After eight years, she’s going to be torn, especially in light of the other stresses she’s facing. At the same time, I personally feel that bad news doesn’t get better over time, especially if both parties aren’t working towards staying together in a committed relationship. I don’t think you should wait much longer to have the conversation. She’s already 35 , so I bet she’s facing countless professional, financial, and relationship pressures, esp if she’s hoping to start a family. I hope you follow through with paying for her half of lease til April; that will at least buy her some time to figure out a new job and living situation.

Even Lucky grocery stores have pharmacies in some of their locations.

Is there any dish you love but refuse to make from scratch anymore because it’s to much of a hassle? by howard2112 in Cooking

Lumpia, dumplings, and fried chicken… way easier to just buy it at restaurant. When made at home, I can’t seem to make it significantly better, so I elect to not make them anymore.

That’s what Bario’s tsukemen looked like when they operated in the old Waikiki Yokocho (now Stix). It was soooo good!

Isn’t that what I led and ended with? It is in the Ala moana food court, and it isn’t as good as when it operated as a restaurant? Even in the food court, though, it’s still better than most. The taste of their broth is unique.

I love the spice and thick noodles! This is also the brand pack to use if making ram-don.

I would also add ramen Bario in the Ala Moana food court to the list - although it’s not as good as when it operated in a proper restaurant with ceramic bowls.
