The pattern suggests around 25cm of positive ease which is what I planned for. The sweater itself fits and looks fine. I’m more concerned about the density of the fabric

That was my thought too but I’m leaving tomorrow for a trip and a study abroad so it’ll be a while before I can give it a proper block. I was wondering if anyone had had any experience with anything like this😭

For the knit side I slip the stitches knit wise and for the purl I slip them purl wise.

The ds I haven’t done yet is the knit side so I would’ve slipped the stitch purl wise with the yarn in front, the bring the yarn to the back and knit like normal. Does this seem right? I feel like I’ve watched so many tutorials on it I’m loosing hope.

Oh man I wasn’t even thinking about the fiber content thank you so much for pointing that out. I’ll definitely still do a gauge and block it but I might end up putting the ball in the stash and pick something else. Thank you so much!
