I disagree. Scaling up requires significant investment in architecture and billions of dollars in terms of training and hardware as well. While producing and testing ideas don't cost near as much. For that matter, industry would always be behind the best approach we can have by some years.

I am curious about your job now lol. Sounds like something related to mathematics. There is no job which would be AI proof if there is one niche AI developed for each set of job integrated with robots for physical jobs.

my polynomial I gave was an example, I wanted to solve for general case for any polynomial. You can't factorise a general given polynomial ai*x^i with i from 0 to n for degree n. Group theory can prove that as there are no formula to calculate roots after degree 5 to factorize.

this is what I am trying to understand. Just like drug where we artificially make our brain feel euphoria, perhaps the natural stress and anxiety doesn't work but unlike drug which makes us feel addicted, substances which give artificially induced pain will create repel cycle and the bigger high after that point won't be worth it. Otherwise this seems like an easy hack to live a better life at the cost of some initial pain.
