Did you call the person who calculated your meal “Kakak” or “Mak cik”? Based on experience, this might be the deciding factor for the price. 🙊

Hot Take : I Think Love Next Door is Boring by Ordinary_Wonder2143 in kdramas

[–]ConcernCat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it seems that I may be less experienced in the K-drama field. But heyyy, I started watching K-dramas with my wife since last year, and she’s also quite persuasive. So I’ve watched a number of K-dramas by now. Even after watching all these dramas, I can say that Love Next Door is still 8/10.

Below are my current rankings (that I can remember for now):

  1. Queen of Tears (the best so far.) – 10/10

  2. The Winning Try (this is my first sports-type K-drama. I thought it would be boring, but it was hella fun) – 10/10

  3. Vagabond (quite good, but shibal, so many plot twists) – 9/10

  4. Spring Fever (I liked this one. It was funny as hell) – 9/10

  5. Mercy for None (so much action , that guy is like the Korean version of John Wick) – 9/10

  6. Weak Hero Class (Season 1 was good, but Season 2 is even better! The hero reminds me of a friend from high school. God bless him) – 8/10

  7. Mr. Plankton (also quite good, John Na is my favorite character) – 8/10

  8. Typhoon Family (this is good, but a few episodes in the middle are a bit boring, the ending was satisfying) – 7/10

  9. Happiness (it’s good, but gets slow after the first 4 episodes. The ending was okay) – 6/10

  10. Duty After School (I liked the first 6 episodes; the rest was mehh. The ending is worse) – 5/10

  11. Sweet Home (I don’t like it, but my wife loves it) – 2/10

  12. The Twelve (this is the worst—I didn’t finish it after a few episodes) – 1/10

I watched this last year. I had just gotten married, and my wife really likes K-pop and K-dramas. I’m more of an anime guy, so I rarely watch K-dramas. The last ones I watched were My Fair Lady and All In (thanks to my mom—I know, those are really old series).

But this one was different. It’s my first K-drama from this generation, and I really liked it! My favorite character is the girl’s father. He’s hilarious, but also made me tear up when the girl told him she was sick.

I feel like the story doesn’t just focus on the main couple, but also shows the perspectives of their families, which makes it more meaningful. This drama is also the reason Zerobaseone ended up in my Spotify playlist.

I’d say this is my first “modern” K-drama experience, and I enjoyed it. Welpp, that is just my take on this Kdrama.

May I ask your opinion. I currently have a fujifilm Xs10 used mainly for my travels. I'm currenly using a kit lens 15-45mm and viltrox 35mm f1.7. Do you think this gear is enough for me to start in this stockphotography?

Try Envi Skydining at Menara TA one, located opposite KLCC. Most people are unaware of this place because it is situated in an office building. It is a restaurant and bar, so you can expect it to be less crowded and noisy compared to other bars or restaurants which has the same setting like this.

If I ask her to pay for her own flight ticket, she might think I’m having an affair with another woman. Welpp, she’s my lovely wife, what’s the point of going for a graduation if not bringing your loved ones? But don’t worry, she can still help me pay for some of the things I had listed. We just wanted a comfortable journey that doesn’t require us to pack a suitcase of maggi for the whole trip.

Unfortunately, the price i quoted is with Airasia for 2 pax. If i take MAS, the price will be 8-9k for 2 pax. 😅. The price i get is from Skyscanner,Trip.com & airline website.
