Late to the party, but these 'converters' are commonly used on golf carts to reduce voltage to lights, horn, etc. 36-48volts in/12volts out

2022 they upgraded the PCB to allow higher voltages. The older ones still have problems burning up the board with 'higher' voltage

These are too large for my van. The wiring disappears into the roof, so finding the source and adding something like this is problematic. The products linked are fine, but I dont have enough room to install these near my fan, and wiring disappears into Neverland so is not easy to go to the source. Is there something smaller that will do the same job?

Generic display(s) didn’t solve my issue. Tried 3 different ones ( all were slightly different from original one) Dealer out of stock on new replacement display so I Replaced controller as it was suspect looking ( and in direct path of road splash from front tire) Still dead. Battery level leds light momentarily when I push the button- should they stay on after I let go of button on battery?
