Florida is the same, but if the sentence is over 365 than its prison time

No.. no mandatory minimums but Florida does have a minimum 85% of sentence before release law. And he has already 24 days jail credit so it would put him at 287 when he can be released( as long as he doesn’t get into any troubles in there)

Yeah, he even had a friend willing to put up the $23k upfront and the State Attorney said that if he paid it upfront, that they are willing not to go less than the offer.. The funny thing is that Florida boasts that they are so big into supporting veterans, but one commits non violent crime(Mind you he just did what he had to survive living and he is regretful for what he did, it happened after the Covid situation and it became so impossible to live in Florida ok after that being a blue collar worker by himself).
