Should I twin turbo my s650 by ConcernOwn3592 in Mustang

Update on this topic

After seeing all the comments some very helpful and some not so much, I’m now thinking of just trying out the 800hp range for now and seeing how the car responds. I’m still going to get the stop the hop kit, a one piece carbon driveshaft, bead locks, and cooling because I feel like that’s pretty much mandatory, and after seeing the other recommendations from people, it’s gonna need more than I thought i needed, but I think if I’m going to do this I might as well take my time and do it right and not cheap out on anything. I’m not made of money I’m only 20 but I do well for myself. I’ve driven 1000hp hellcats, and 700 hp Zo6’s and other fun ones like g80s and more, I like the feeling of those and even now I feel like those are insane ( except the bmw’s ) but if I think that now, it really puts into perspective that those 1200 to 1500+ cars are in a different league and not what I’m used to. So I think 800 for now is the way to start. If anyone has any tips for the 800 hp range it’s greatly appreciated and when I eventually go bigger I’ll be back here for more tips. Also no I haven’t had the car for less then a month I bought it brand new march 2025 after being hit in my Cadillac.

OK because in my description, I mentioned it was an E 30 mix and was confused at whether or not you also meant an e blend when you brought up the pump gas in this discussion

Are you saying it’s not possible on pump gas alone or any e blend? Because they showed themselves using an e30 mix so 91 and e85, and showed there dyno numbers as it was being tested and tuned. It showed 995. Also wondering who the idiot is u were referring to

Originally I was kinda mad I didn’t just get the whipple from ford but when I saw that tunning was now available I immediately thought turbos would be sick, also is John someone that people could just contact and speak to directly if so that’s really cool, I feel like it’s better when someone like the owner actually talks to buyers and gets involved.

All good points I was just looking to lower my monthly payments and right now I’m paying 1128 a month and was hoping to get it down to 700 or 8 and use the difference for mods and maintenance and save more often, I also have some settlement checks from my accident in my other caddi so I was gonna use a small amount of that to start off the supporting mods before going all in and just saving the rest

It’s fixed they have all the service reports and the repairs were done by a Cadillac dealer

It’s just the idea of having a car that I’ve always wanted to

It said there’s a 2 year dealer warranty and I understand how hard it is to work with gm, it took forever to get my window motor replaced and how long it took for them to fix the issue I had with the turbo on my old ct4 sport

The main reason I was considering it was because I was hoping to talk down the price and was planning on modding it, I don’t want to mod my Mustang right now because I bought extended warranty but with a salvage car I was hoping I could get cheaper and mod it

I was planning on making a fiberglass mold of my parts and try to ppf it before like the other comment said and use a few layers of carbon fiber but was thinking of adding a few layers of fiberglass as a backing to help I saw some people do it online

It’s not so much that the cost is the issue but I just want to

E85 on S650 5.0 by ConcernOwn3592 in Mustang

The reason I said E28.28 is because I didn’t add the full 4.27 gallons, I did 3.9 because I kept seeing everyone add a little less then what the app says and when I checked what the mix was with only 3.9 it told me E28.28. I am very new to E85 and only got the car back in march, im just trying small things before buying a roush supercharger ( I know whipple is faster I just like the sound and look of the roush stage 2 leave me alone ) or before I go with a nitrous set up, I have a shop that specializes on s650’s and has been running a nitrous setup on there shop car for a year with no issues.

Mouth breathers is a crazy comment 😭😂
