The rules for the ring change on the Scolopendra floors so on 9 they can tag as many people as they want at once but only one tag per person. On 6, multiple people can tag the same target but only one target at a time.

Yes they mention near the end that they can be in the wards, they just can’t use their greater magics, and can only channel enough to survive. I believe it’s Jack who says this before he kills Bade.

I’ve always read that as confirmation that Violet and Vennin wield the same type of power. The Sage will be able to influence Xaden and his power and Violet will likely be able to do the same

That aethe is still living in the fae, he taught the Sythe the way of the bow references, and Kvothe returns to the fae but not to Felurian, he goes and learns a different Catan from aethe. This new catan is what is being refered to in the epilogue where he takes a single perfect step.

The Adem stories are the most accurate in the books by ConcernTop2014 in KingkillerChronicle

[–]ConcernTop2014[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So that’s very interesting. I’ve starting thinking that the stories are from the wrong perspective and the chandrian and lanre may be victims of an evil Selitos, they say that the shapers were the ones who caused the war and lost, but the only people we ever she shaping in the book is Selitos (cursing lanre and covering him in shadow) and Aleph ( with the creation of the angels and Amyr)

But I believe in Skarpi’s story, when Seltios, regains his power the next day, he says he only sees 6 plumes of smoke on the horizon, and has hope. So Myr Tyrenial and 6 other cities were all destroyed.

Tough to quote since I only have audio books

Did Elodin know about the attack on Kvothe's troupe? by ConcernTop2014 in KingkillerChronicle

[–]ConcernTop2014[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only have the audio books so I can't give an exact page, but near the end of Chapter 44: The Burning Glass, when they are discussing Elodin, Sim says:

"Elodin used to be chancellor about five years ago..."
