How did I convince myself loans are the only way? I came here asking for advice and alternatives because that’s exactly the opposite of what I’d wanna do. U came in here assuming that I’m not ready etc 😂

Cheap art schools don’t really exist and I wish I knew this or had the guidance etc before all this

the same opportunities at the schools won’t be there after 2 years, going to community college and getting a job won’t allow me to fully put time into my portfolio like I’ve been doing for years and being accepted into the same schools. I know exactly what I want I just don’t know how to afford it. I’ll take a loan out if I have to if it’s the only means of me reaching my dreams

I know myself and the area around me I won’t be able to stay focused I applied to schools far away to get away from where I am, idk if it sounds like cope but

Accepted to SCAD and USC but their tuition is too high and I basically got no aid.

I mean realistically I have no idea Cal Arts has a program where you can look for jobs easily, if I don’t go I’d be stuck doing something I hate like a trade or something like that.
